HIRING A DIGITAL MARKETING VIRTUAL ASSISTANT

 

We are looking to contract a part-time digital marketing VA to provide support to our team. We’re a small, remote digital marketing agency based out of Madrid, serving clients primarily in the US. 

 

As a digital marketing VA, you will be the glue that keeps everything together. Your primary responsibilities will be to assist the founder and the team with tasks or client work. 

 

This could include performing various administrative tasks such as attending client calls and taking meeting notes, assigning tasks to the team, keeping track of projects, and assisting with online marketing. You could also be pulled into client projects. For example, if we have a new business opportunity, you will be asked to do research on the industry, the competition, or use tools we provide you to audit their online presence and help better prepare us for pitching to the client. 

 

For this role, a strong internet connection is required, along with experience using project management software like Trello, as well as experience using social media. 

 

You will be our founder’s right-hand man or woman, assisting her with client requests and administrative work, handling multiple projects at once while delivering high-quality work under minimum supervision. 

 

Responsibilities

 

  • Assist with administrative tasks as needed

  • Take meeting notes and action items for clients & internal team

  • Follow up with clients regarding outstanding items

  • Help keep projects running smoothly

  • Do market research as necessary

  • Assist with social media (FB, Instagram, Google My Business) for client accounts

  • Publish content to client websites

  • Create graphics as necessary

  • Assist with bookkeeping as necessary

  • Enjoys online research and solving problems

Requirements

  • Native or perfectly fluent English is a must

 

This position is great for someone who is incredibly organized and pays attention to detail.

 

This could be a good fit for an entry-level marketer who may not have a lot of experience but is interested in learning how a remote agency runs or someone who wants to get into freelancing and learn more about the behind-the-scenes. You can get your hands dirty with project management, email marketing, automation, analytics, SEO, social media, paid advertising, design, and more. All you have to do is show initiative and ask!
